BSI PAS 68 Testing

BSI PAS 68 is the impact test specification for vehicle security barriers.

It defines the vehicle types, speeds and test configurations and cites a classification system for the performance of barriers when subjected to a single horizontal impact.

Britpave has undertaken full BSI PAS 68 testing at the UK's Transport Research Laboratory (TRL).

Testing has been carried out at 64km/h (40mph) and 80km/h (50mph) using N2 and N3 vehicle types respectively.
